My Hope

This relates to my haiku from CDHK’s challenge I wrote last night and I wanted to share it here, too.

Loose Him and Let Him Go

I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. (‭Psalms‬ ‭130‬:‭5‬ NLT)

If your hope lies anywhere else, you are hopeless. I thought I’d this last night when I penned this poem for a challenge. (The original post and challenge details can be found here.)

Life can be dismal
Filled with depression and dread
My faith is my hope
