Lost: a haiku

This haiku was prompted by the challenge #143 at CDHK to compose a haiku in like sense, tone, and spirit as the one given, which follows:

wild violets . . .
he finally agrees
to the path I took

The details, if you’re interested, can be found here.

This my attempt to recreate, as stated, in my own original haiku:

muted violets
shrouded by lingering mist
help him find his way
