Favorite Quotes? I’ve got a few

Today I was invited by Mededith’s Musings to join in the Three Day Quote Challenge; thank you, Meredith, for the invitation to join in. For the challenge, the rules are:

I – Post your favorite quotes or your own quotes for three (3) posts in a row.

II – Thank the person who nominated you.

III (a) – Pass it on to three (3) other bloggers per quote, each time you post them.

III (b) – Or pass it to nine (9) bloggers if you choose to post all the quotes together, in the same post.

I’m going to go ahead and name my nine invitees now; invatation doesn’t require acceptance, by the way. I invite, in no particular order, Ronovan, Melissa, Florence, HLHIVY, Lynn, Jessica, Bastet, Ladyleemanila, and Vashti to join the challenge, too. 

I have so many favorite quotes by so many different authors that this is going to be a challenge in itself for me to parse down just which to include. To help me in narrowing my selection I plan to not use any unattributed quotes, of which there are many, but only ones I that can relay their source.  And I’ll start a new post/series for this challenge later today or tomorrow; I’m not sure yet if it will be a one-shot-deal or a three (or more) day series, time will tell.
