The words our host, Ronovan, provided this week – trill and finial – seemed very melodic to me. Every time I tried to make something out of them, even with the thesaurus option, I kept coming back to this idea; so I gave in!
her beautiful trill
operatic voice climaxed
moving us to tears
This scene danced through my head a hundred times (maybe that’s a bit overstated). But it is where my thoughts went and stayed. And it’s a beautiful scene, in my mind at least.
Lovely poetry.😌

Sometimes with these challenges one simply needs to go with your muse’s flow. 🙂 Awesome poem.

I like your haiku, it reminded me of my first opera. The soprano did move me to tears.

Thank you, Vashti. I was actually thinking of a movie – can’t recall which one – in which that happened to the main character. Great minds 👍🏻
